As the state of alarm continues, many of you have run out of ideas for entertaining at home. But do not worry, today we bring you some of our online proposals (and free!) To spend a better confinement, because #YoMeQuedoEnCasa for #FrenarLaCurva.
Suggested ideas for enjoying leisure and culture from home
Streaming music concerts
There are many artists who have joined this cause and who daily direct their profiles to share their music with us and make us the most entertaining quarantine. A great idea to distract yourself and entertain ourselves! Look in the @yomequedoencasafestival profile and write down the online concert times.
Virtual museums
If you have always wanted to visit a specific work but have not had a chance, or imagine that you walk among the greatest works of art in history, this is a way to get closer to them. There are many museums that allow access to their facilities virtually. Some of them are: the Prado Museum (Madrid), Gallerie Degli Ufizzi (Florence), Vatican Museum (Rome), Archaeological Museum (Athens), Louvre Museum (Paris), British Museum (London) or National Art Gallery (Washington) .
But in addition, Google offers us a tool called Arts and Culture where we can find 360º videos of the sea of entertainment. An example? See inside the Discovery space shuttle or swim with the prehistoric sea dragon Rhomaleosaurus, whose fossil is on display at the Natural History Museum, London.
Movies, series and documentaries
Netflix is our friend. Jokes aside, this platform, such as HBO, DisneyPlus or free portals such as eFilm or the Short Films website are your best ally for this confinement. Movies, series, documentaries and endless options for all tastes.
Books, magazines and video games
It is the perfect time to read the book that you had pending and, if you do not have it at home, you can look it up on eBiblio, an e-book loan service under the Ministry of Culture and Sport or on the list of books that Amazon offers free. In addition, the Harper group has announced that it makes all its magazines freely available online. Reading is the way to travel far without moving around!
Even if you’re not much of a reader, online single or multiplayer games can be a great way to interact with your friends while entertaining yourself.
Theater and opera online
Confinement not only has bad things, since there are many entities that are contributing their grain of sand to the cause, as is the case of the Theater Documentation Center (CDT), of the Ministry of Culture. And it is that since February 1 it is offering up to 1,500 recordings of shows of all genres (also dance) on the Teatroteca platform completely free of charge.
