Have you finished high school in your country and just arrived in Barcelona? Are you planing to take the UNED exam in the May session to enter university? This intensive course for international students is the best preparation. In just five months, you can achieve the university admission score you need. This intensive Selectivity course is ideal for students who have completed an International Baccalaureate or high school outside of Spain and wish to study at Spanish universities with great results in the university entrance exam or “selectividad”.
For this INTENSIVE PATHWAY course for the May session, students who have completed their studies at schools located abroad affiliated with UNED and CIDEAD will take the High School Evaluation for University Access (PAU) at UNED. Students who have completed secondary school in a foreign system of education must take the Specific Competency Tests (PCE) of UNED as part of their university application. It will be key to determining whether they have the required grades to be accepted.
Why is it necessary to take a special intensive Selectivity course for international students or International Baccalaureates? It is important to note that the university entrance exam in Spain is based on the content of the Spanish high school curriculum. If you have studied high school outside of Spain or completed an International Baccalaureate, your university entrance exams will differ from those of students with a Spanish high school education.
At Academia Guiu, in addition to the May intensive Selectivity course for international students, we offer differentiated courses tailored to the various needs of students to ensure maximum precision in exam preparation.
The course provides intensive preparation aimed at achieving optimal results and qualifying for ALL university degrees.
International students, students with an International Baccalaureate or with a high school diploma from a non-Spanish educational system, all have completed the equivalent of the second year of high school. However, academic levels and curriculum implemented by countries vary widely.
The Spanish selectivity exam is based on the content of the second year of the Spanish high school curriculum. For this reason, a differentiated selectivity test is conducted for students from other educational systems.
During the May intensive Selectivity course for international students, we conduct 2 Selectivity mock exams. These allow you to identify your weaknesses and effectively correct your mistakes.
Our teachers will condense the theoretical topics during the May intensive Selectivity course, and you will practice with typical Selectivity exercises. With your effort and dedication, you will learn to answer ALL exam questions.
At Academia Guiu, we have qualified teachers specialized in each subject and with extensive experience in training all types of students who need academic support at any level.
